CBG Oils

CBG, cannabigerol, is one of the many cannabinoids naturally occurring in the cannabis plant. This cannabinoid is gaining increasing attention for its properties. While most of the attention has focused on cannabidiol (CBD), CBG has its own unique properties.

What makes CBG interesting is its potential to affect the endocannabinoid system (ECS) in the human body. The ECS is a collection of receptors and substances that play a key role in regulating various physiological functions such as mood, pain, inflammation, sleep and immune responses.

Studies suggest that CBG may have anti-inflammatory, analgesic and neuroprotective effects. It is also being explored for its potential in the treatment of glaucoma, inflammatory bowel disease and even some forms of cancer. However, it should be stressed that research into CBG is still ongoing and, as it is a cannabis substance, it also faces legal restrictions and regulations, so we cannot report on all its benefits that have been investigated so far.
